This is coming from the heart....literally, because its that time of the year again where lover's and hopeless romantics pour their hearts out to the ones they love with cheesy love letters and boxed chocolate in the shape of a heart.
Valentine's Day....where everyone is happy to open up and express their feelings with the person they love, but should Valentine's Day be something everyone should fancy?
Some people like to keep it simple and say 'I love you' to their partner while others have to go crazy and buy every cute Hallmark item to profess their undying love to someone who they have 'a thing' for.
Well, as the person who is usually giving the advice to those lonely singles out there, I've found my own guy to pour my heart out to on this day......but I won't be doing that because he's the type of guy who kicks Valentine's Day to the curb. Who can blame him? Valentine's Day should be everyday...without all of the sappy lovey dovey one time use love lines and over priced chocolates.
Seeing all of those happy couples out there make me smile, or seeing your teacher smile at her phone on this day, even giving your friend that advice to get the guts to tell this girl he's liked her for months now, it all happens on this day and I love to see the love. Treat your loved one with the care that they deserve everyday not just a 'special' time designated in February.
